As I mentioned in my last newsletter, we began demolition on our new (yet very old) farm! That’s right, we bought a little Carr/Fassett family compound with three buildings (OK four buildings, but one collapsed!) on 16 acres in lovely Woodstock. This gem has been neglected for a very long time and needs lots and lots of Crazy Sexy Love. Brian and I don’t know much about green building/restoring, but boy are we learning fast! In the process of tearing down walls to see what we’re dealing with, we discovered there’s actually a small house trapped inside the main house. Wha? The ole gal was originally built in the 1800s (ghosts! boo!), then the 1980s came along (a wacky time for fashion and architecture) and gave her a very bad makeover. Someone literally boxed her in and built weirdness around her. Here’s a little vid of us tearing down the walls. Crash. Smash. Boom. It was very liberating! Sometimes to create something new you’ve got to clear out the old. I love freeing diamonds …
I’m back, and I’ve missed you! Welcome to my little “Stoop Talk” segment. It’s too dang nice to stay in the house, so Lola and I brought the rig outside where the snow and the sun and the birds are all singing and shining. Miracles are on my mind, my friends. There have been so many in my life. As my friend Gabrielle Bernstein discussed in her blog last week, a miracle is simply a shift in perception from thoughts of fear to thoughts of love. Ooh, now that’s some spiritual sugar. Sweeet!
I’ve personally experienced the power of this shift countless times. Haven’t you? Ya ever notice that when you continually perceive “such and such” as too hard … it only gets harder? Time for some re-programming, sista (and bro)! Miracles create the space for total transformation at the cellular lever. I can teach you how and what to eat/drink. But if the “think” part is topsy-turvy, you’ll still create inflammation (inner flames) in your life. Let’s change that, shall we?
I invite you to join Gabrielle Bernstein and me for our Crazy Sexy Miracles lecture. Live in NYC and on Ustream Video. That’s right, watch us from your computer!
We’re gonna tickle and tussle you towards love and away from fear. Because as I’ve said many times, when you change your mind, you change your life. The negative thoughts and fears are just so frickin’ draining. They take up way too much valuable mental real estate.
When I embraced the miracle, my health and happiness transformed in the most empowering, holistic way. To that point, I’m gonna throw down some tasty diet and lifestyle snuggets (snugget: when a snippet and a nugget have sex, they make a snugget). We’ll review key aspects of plant-based medicine including how to reduce the aforementioned inner flames (inflammation), balance pH, and the importance of eating less from the animal kingdom, more from the plant kingdom, and nothing from the laboratory kingdom. I’ll give you the scoop on how come sugar is crack and why Lady Starbuck’s really needs to take a back seat to green juice. Join us in the shine and get ready to shift.
Oh, and ya know what would be really cool? Share a shift with us here. Remember a time when you moved from lack to plenty. What happened as a result? Did you see that your soul mate was right under your nose (like I did). What happened, hot stuff?
I don’t know about you, but asking for help has never been easy for moi. Giving, sure. Receiving? Uhhh…. Here’s the catch, you’ll never experience the generosity that your pals, family and colleagues are capable of unless you put yourself out there – especially when you need support most. It doesn’t make you any less of a person – even The Beatles needed “a little help from my friends” to get by. I’ve been gearing up for my big Crazy Sexy Diet launch on January 16th for months and I’ve had to reach out and ask for support from everyone I know (and then some!). Wowzas! I had no idea how much love and “heck yeahs” I’d receive in return. We forget that others love to give too. So next time you need a hand…. ask! Whatever your dream is, you can’t do it alone. And you’ll be pleasantly surprised and filled with that mood-boosting emotion we call gratitude. Many more details on the book launch and other tasty Crazy Sexy Diet goodies are coming your way soon, so be sure to stay tuned! In the meantime, check out my latest vlog and have a wonderful, juicy weekend.
Happy, healthy holidays! I am super excited to tell you a BIG, phat secret. But you have to promise to keep it between us, OK? Shhh….
The Crazy Sexy Diet book countdown is just weeks away! While my bouncing baby girl is in stores now, we haven’t sent out her birth notice yet. Why? Because the official Crazy Sexy Diet launch begins on January 16th. So hold off my dear, dear friends. Wait like a patient little camper and spend-a-roo (in January) on the best gift you can give yourself and your family — a healthy and happy body, mind and spirit. If you buy the book between Jan 16th – Jan 22nd you will help us rocket to the best-seller list. What could be better than that? The more folks who read CSD the better. Prevention IS the Cure and Crazy Sexy Diet is the cheerleader to take this message to the masses (if I do say so myself… back pat, back pat)! I’ll splain’ more in this goofy video.
Here’s what I know for shizzz: Crazy Sexy Diet is my gift to you. Buying Crazy Sexy Diet between January 16th – 22nd is your gift to ME. Thanks for listening! I’ve been wanting to tell you for so long. Now I can stop peeing my pants on a weekly basis.
Happy holidays, dear one.
Peace and Mistletoe,
Kris

Peace & family kitchen time,

PS. We forgot to mention that we use purified water or coconut water or even almond milk to blend our smoothies. Lately we’ve been enjoying some almond butter in place of avocado in our blender disco. Oh my, it’s good. xo!
