I am over age 70 and fell madly in love for the 1st time. Problem is i am married and so is he. Ive never experinced such passion and feel sure he is my soul mate. I am desperate, what should i do? We both were attracted to each other like a magnet.

Really fun post, sort of a combo between Dear Abby, pop-psychology and horoscopes.
I tell my clients to first list 5 things that they want in a perfect mate. Then when they have the list, I tell them to develop those qualities in themselves because “light cleaveth unto light.” You’ve got to have the qualities in yourself first before you can attract a partner, and they key word is partner. Romanticism is just the icing on the cake of a relationship. Manifesting an ideal outside yourself will never happen until you yourself are the ideal.

I’m not sure what I believe.
The law of attraction concept is very popular and the subject of many, many books. The magical thinking component is seductive, almost sparkly. I think in these uncertain times common sense is as important as any sort of magical thinking. It doesn’t hold the glimmer though. Also, I’m uneasy with the law of attraction because, at this point, it is an industry.

I totally agree with the laws of attraction, but I have always considered myself a law breaker, 2 DUI to prove it. Should attraction be different (when tipping the bottle)?
