I’ve been keeping a “Happy List” since I was 16. It started on a long road trip with my church youth group, and the first thing on the list was Robin Williams. I wrote my college entrance essays on the concept. It seriously does tap you on the shoulder when things are dark and remind you that there has been and will be light again. I’ve passed it on to many, many people throughout the years, and people tell me all the time they’re still keeping their lists after all these years. Hope it continues to give you the happiness it’s given me!

1.The soothing scent of lavender…to eat, to soak in, to slather on.
2.Yoga, and the ability to go to the mat no matter what my state of health is.
3.Giving and receiving yoga off the mat.
4.My beautiful yoga kula, who strengthen and support me, so I in turn can do the same for others.
5.My most excellent friends who stand by me and love me throughout all the trials and tribulations of life without judgement, but with accountability.
6.My very own aromatherapy scent (lavender, patchouli, and bergamot) created especially for me by a dear friend.
7.The loving,healing power of Reiki.
8.The smell of newborn babes, and the amazing process of pregnancy and child birth.
9.My 2 smart, funny, lovable boxers…Luda and Jack.
10. Spinach, kale, greens…yum.
