Trust & Calling Conditions
Do you trust your inner wisdom or do you bounce around like a beach ball listening to everyone else’s advice but your own? When our minds are full of noise and confusion it’s hard to get to the heart of our true needs, emotions and feelings. Even though I’ve learned this lesson hundreds of times, I can easily forget my own advice. Luckily, one of my treasured mentors, Dean Ornish MD, saw this block from a mile away and made me aware of the trap I had fallen into. Today, I share his wisdom and a technique I learned during my acting days that helps me pull out my true feelings. I hope this resonates with you and that you’ll share your techniques for tapping into your own sacred voice!

Friday’s vlog day
these days
yeey!!!
Wonderfully Said.
I needed to hear tthis yesterday. I had a big decission to make and I did listen to myself but later started questioning my gut feelings but ended up sticking with them. I had to call 3 people for reassurance though. And I have been talking about & thinking about this very topic…having faith in ourselves which to me is the same as having faith in God or source or anyone or anything b/c we are all one..all a part of each other.
I love you too! This vlog always seems to have perfect timing. I am listening to my gut today and making a tough decision that, deep down, I know is right. Thanks for the reminder!
Kris, I really look forward to having you in my inbox every Friday morning! Great vlog. Sound advice. I often need so much reassurance. I really need to work on trusting myself more. Thanks.
Kris, you are such a sweetie. I expanded the vlog to full screen so I felt like you were talking just to me. (Crazy I know.) Loved it when the doggie walked across the room.
Kris, I, too, was faced with a big decision this week. My gut told me to go for it and I did. Results will be forthcoming next week. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for all that you do! Love your blogs.
Hey Kris, Great blog, Great Information, do you think anytime in the future you would be speaking in Minneapolis, MN would love to come see you at one of your presentations. I would like to bring my teenager to it just for a little inspiration from another woman.
Take care, Eileen
Hiya Kris, thank you for your advice, as always. I love your vlogs, and look forward to them.
I loved what you said about getting your gunk out so as to stop looking for mom and dad in a partner, or food addiction. I have battled sugar addiction my whole life, and completely cut it out over 3 months ago. Thank you for inspiring me to stick to it. I am going to go do yoga now, and after that make a green smoothie. xoxo
So cool – I loved this. :) Tried it on my son who is so emotionally and cognitively disabled and he really could come up with just words, where he could not articulate feelings as a whole. As always, you are a goddess! :)
Hugs,
Jeanné
thank you for this wonderful message. i just had a little marital discord :/ this morning and your post just helped me feel love and concern just for me coming from the universe! so thanks – your impact reaches out in ways you probably aren’t even aware of! how cool is that? love and hugs back at you, Kris… -Robin
U rock.
Wondering what the part about “still looking for mommy and daddy” meant though. Never heard that. If anyone could chime in, it’d be much appreciated. Just in case, ya know, that is one of my… many… problems, yet to be faced.

I’ve never heard of “calling conditions” but I DIG it! I think there are endless acting (and singing) techniques which are useful tools for mindfulness. So many of the same things are required to act well and to live well: saying “yes” to whatever is happening, staying in the present moment, allowing yourself to be vulnerable, honesty, listening…and on and on.
Secret for you, sista Kris: I met Elizabeth Lesser a few months ago and she suggested that I teach a course on this kinda thing at Omega. (Can I get a hip shake?)
By the way, when she told me she lives in Woodstock, I mentioned you and she positively lit up. But then, it’s hard not to light up at the mention of your name.
Kris, you are so intelligent and gorgeous and shinier than ever in your 20 something’th year. I like your hair pin.
Your calling conditions makes me think of instinct. I had a really lucky summer insofar as what managed to transpire. I had to do a lot, yet my instinct kept settling in with those around me who I would have hoped were looking in the same direction. They seemed to be and were geared. I guess we were all ready and the “a lot to do” resulted in lots of work and loveliness too. In my experience, it nearly never happens that way, so thank you God / Buddha / Elvis / Holy Spirit and the shiniest of stars.
In any case, it makes me wonder how “the right time” factors into conditions. I don’t think this could have happened for me last year and I’m not one to force. hmmm.
Also, here’s to hoping Brian catches on to the furry friend need.
Lots of love and thank you for inspiring and feeding back

WOW. thank you!!!!!!!!!!! incredible timing. HUGE LOVE & BLESSINGS ~ xC
You are awesome! Love you!
So great, as always. Your goodness and sincerity just reaches through the computer! And Brynze, regarding “looking for mommy and daddy” — My understanding is that I think we all carry family of origin issues into adulthood — unresolved issues with our parents. We sometimes end up picking mates who will take care of us, or continue the relationship we had growing up, because it’s what we know. In my situation, I “married my mother” (not literally!) the first time around — lots of unfinished business with her,so I picked a spouse where I could continue the relationship (power struggle). Anyway, that’s my understanding of the phrase….. (:
I must echo the sentiments! I have a magnet on my fridge that says “Trust yourself, you know more than you think you do” and have been struggling applying it this week in the face of a big decision…what perfect timing to remind me of the power within. Thanks Kris, you are an angel! Robyn
Thanks Kris!!!! My family and I love you too!!! XO
Kris. Thanks so much for your vlogs. I have been struggling with forgiveness… could you write or speak about something a long those lines?
my weekly dose of what’s right and true, clean, uncluttered doses of Love!!
Love Love Love to you!!
Calling conditions. What a great tool! I’m definately going to be trying that this week. Thank you for sharing the wisdom!
I love your blogs keep it up they are so inspiring. Seeing you always puts a smile on my face.
What a great tool! Happy birthday, you look amazing. Seriously, you could pass for 22. I know that is shallow, but shallow is a fun part of everything too. Wishing you exploding streamer glitter bombs.

I love you, too!
