Yes, exactly…but where do we turn to next? What steps can we take that will not only remove us from the ‘pot’ for a little while, but will remove us from this sick way of living permanently?

Do we have to find and move to a commune? Do we first have to get a high paying job so we can afford to buy some land and move out and live off of it? HOW do we get rid of the pot? It’s all around us! The moment I walk out of my pot and into the woods or onto a beach, I am still in a pot – a very BIG pot. We don’t know how to grow our own food enough to sustain us year round. And even if we did, we don’t have the land on which to do it. I’m with you…I want so badly to get out of this pot, but how? The question, I don’t think, is IF you want to jump…it’s how?

Really, honestly, how?

Thank you so much for the post!! It has reassured my decision to quit my job in two months to take time off to enjoy nature, family and reconnect with myself. Over the years I’ve become so numb to life forsing myself to work in an unsatisfying job, chained to a desk eight hours a day. I just want to feel alive again!!
