Gene, I worked as a tour guide for FS in the past, and to this day it’s been the most honorable and fulfilling work I’ve ever done. I am so proud of how well FS continues to do – It’s constantly popping up all over the media! Keep fighting the good fight. I’m so glad to be able to read more of your posts!

Thank you for this inspiring post. As a vegan and a supporter of Farm Sanctuary and HSUS, in the midst of reading Eating Animals and exposing myself to more and more information on animal treatment (especially in factory farming) I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the massive industry and deeply imbedded social norms of not seeing the lives behind the meat and other products. It’s nice to see the positive changes that have occurred and makes me more hopeful for the possibilities of the future.
