Goddess Group Fast

saguaronearoatman-6002

Hola Fasters!

Happy Wednesday you beautiful goddesses! So who’s gonna join me in my grassroots, global FAST? Are ya’ ready to release the darkness or what?!

The word for the day is STAMINA.

I know I’ve endured much in this lifetime and I am sure you have too. You’ve fought hard and loved deeply, lost everything and started anew. What was once weak is now powerful. Some are tired. Others have bonfire energy to burn. No matter where your brightness falls, STAMINA is your lighthouse.

It takes staying power cleanse our bodies by fasting. For me, it’s more of a mental thing. I just love the art of eating! Food is sexy. In fact, next to Edward (vampire hunk from The Twilight series), I have a massive crush on oil-cured olives. Rolling them around on my tongue is down right erotic. DOH! But my biggest fetish is curiosity.

How many of you have ever done a long-term juice feast? Perhaps you’ve read about them and wondered what it would be like to abstain from food for 7, 10, 14 days etc. I know I certainly have. Several of my superhero raw friends have fasted for months at a time. I’ve listened in awe as they discuss their new-found physical, mental and spiritual clarity. Finally my curiosity and health hunt adventures have gotten the best of me and I’ve decided to experience the Gandhi rave first hand.

For the next 21 DAYS I will be fasting. Technically today is day 3 and so far so good. Well, Sunday sucked but then I got a really AMAZING colonic (or shall I say exorcism) and felt human again.

Soooo…Greetings from Arizona!

For the next 21-days my fast will be medically supervised by an awesome team. Each day is filled with alternative goodies, like Ozone, IV vitamin C, chelation, IV hydrogen peroxide treatments, vitamin & mineral infusions, lymphatic massage, infrared sauna and an arsenal of other tools. So far my only side affects are HUNGER and pin cushion heroin chic arms. Ice helps, herbal tea helps, but dang it’s hard. It’s weird not to chew! A gallon of green juice per day just ain’t cutting it. I miss my avocados! I miss my raw breads and crackers! I miss cacao pudding!

Brian’s fasting part time. God bless his yummy heart (hmm, that was a very Hannibal Lecter adjective). He makes it through breakfast on juice and then announces that he is dying. Last night he busted out some potatoes and I nearly fainted. I’d pierce my nipples and run naked through the streets for a soy buttery potato! My black flip-flops resemble a generous slice of chocolate cake. I fear for their safety.

STAMINA… Remember your goal Kris…

Oh yeah! Simple: detoxify my body, pull out the heavy metals, rid the Candida (and other pesky things that begin with the letter “c”) and FLOOD my honey temple with oxygen and nutrients. Flood and Flush = my healing mantra. I brought a trunk full of spiritual talks, great books (like my girl Rory Freedman’s RIGHTEOUS Skinny Bitch), uplifting movies and YOU.

Wish me luck!

Peace & fasting & needles,

Kris

You are glowing! Sorry about the technical difficulties with the comments everyone, its all fixed now:) I am hitting the reset button today and toying with the idea of juice fasting until my hubby gets here for the weekend. Then, maybe a juice fast for the week followed by a colonic on Friday! We’ll see…KC is providing a lot of inspiration for us!

Kris,

Am very much wanting to speak with you about my wifes recent diagnosis of EHE! PLEASE give me a call at 303.462.0607 Look forward to it!

I’m doing the Wednesday fast and it’s kind of hard to get used to, so I can’t imagine 21 days! Hope you start t feel more goddess-like every day and I’m sorry for all the needle sticks.

I may have missed it if you said it somewhere, but I’m curious where you are in Arizona doing this fast. All good wishes to you – it sounds awesome – and challenging. The longest I’ve ever fasted is 7 days.

You go girl! I’m inspired. I’ve done one fast for 10 days and another for 7 days. I can tell you it was sooo hard but worth every minute. My head was so clear I could hear my self thinking…LOL. I can’t wait to hear about your finish line. Sending positive energy your way, always!

wow! your so inspiring…I’m still on the one day thing but can’t wait to hear about your 21!!

Good Luck Kris (and Brian)!

Hey ya! I’m wondering if the all the IV goodies are one of the distinctions of what you’re now doing vs at Hippocrates? And presumably the fasting is an integral component of that?

Persoanlly, I am a crunchables munchables gal myself…I totally get missing that.

Well I hope this process delivers what you are hoping for! Sending good mojo your way!
xoxo Michalene

Hi Kris,
You’re so sweet and adorable. I love your spunk! With that long of a fast, if it’s any consolation… it should get easier and easier (with most days).

Journaling helps! Even if it means writing down all of the things you want to eat when you’re done with the fast :)

Cheers and hugs!
Kristen

Kris!

Thanks so much for the inspiration for the holistic life! I think now it’s about that time for a cleanse myself! :)

All my best to your 21!

You’ve inspired me to take a fast day once a week. Don’t think I could do a full 21 days…yet. Are you still on twitter? Maybe posting your 21 day fasting experience would help? *hint hint*

P.S. Did Lola come with you guys too or is she with a pooch sitter?

Kris you are made of rock-solid, pure GOLD girl!! I can bearly make it thru lunch on just the green juicy stuff and here you are putting all of us to shame ;-) I’ll be thinking and sending healing thoughts and energy your way and praying that those pesky hunger pains go bye-bye (along with all the other nasties living in your temple)
YOU GO GODDESS!!!

Michalene-Lola is hanging out with me:)

Ok juicy, I have to give deep bows and props to you and to the ever lovin’ Brian! Enjoy your time there, I bet at some point it will seem easier than.. well easier.

You go Kris!! You can do it!! I wish I had something more motivating to say, but that’s it. That was good ol’ Bella Karoli motivation for you. :)

Corinne, I’m so jealous you have Lola! Don’t tell Kris, but bring her to nyc and we can all play in the Park! I’ll bring all-natural treats!

Kris, you can so do this!! Just think of all the good you are doing for that God-pod of yours.

Go for It!
Anna

Lauren, sounds good! shh!

Thanks loves! Today was ROUGH but I hear it gets better after about the 5th day. We have a great guest tomorrow and then I’ll be back on Friday with more updates. Stay tuned for LOLA over the weekend. She has much to say.

Kris

MUUAHHHH!! Big hugs and smooches to you Kris and loads of good strong energy to keep you on your path to internal cleanliness :)

I’ve only done 5 days max and only once and that was a colon cleanse mostly water fast and it was BRUTAL. The 2nd time I tried, I landed in the ER on day 3 because I was too busy at work and not drinking enough water.

So, have been a bit skerrd to try again more than a day or so. I know with juices it’s different and I’d really really like to do a week and then work up to maybe a 30 day fast….hmmmmm. Thanks for making me think more about incorporating this. xooxxo

Good luck Kris! Thanks to you I am now drinking green juice every morning. Fasting ‘Brian style’.

Good Luck!! You are so inspiring!!!

I Love Skinny Bitch!

Kris,

You look cute :) I did a 6-week water ‘fast’ once—not by choice. I am glad that you are chugging green juice and have supervision – 3 weeks is not as impossible as it seems, you will do great! For me, the second week was the easiest – started feeling a bit superhuman. My experience has also been that a long fast is a uniquely profound experience both physically and spiritually…

Best, Shar

Awesome Corinne!! We’ll go to the park during off-leash hours and just cross our fingers and toes that we don’t lose her!
If we do, we’ll just find another dog that looks like her. We’ll paint spots if we have to!

You RAWK, Beautiful! Stay JUICY xoxoxox

Hi Kris!! Just wondering where you’re doing your supervised fast. Was it a place that was reccomended to you? Do you have a reccomendation for any other locations that are good for this sort of thing?

Thanks and I was soooooo happy to read you blog about the scans!

Much love from Tulsa!
Amanda
