Hi'

I found the EFT and Body Talk to
be potentially helpful for me. I have been out of work for a long time and am very anxious about this absence. I am in continuous pain and suffer from fibromyalgia. I also suffer anxiety attacks. I was quite ill and went through chemotherapy and my body has never been the same. How can
these treatments help me? I am in the Quincy/Boston area.
Please advise if any help can be provided, books available,
consultation etc. Thanks

Hi Mary,

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique. It is a technique that can be used on yourself or by a practitioner to reduce or eliminate the emotional charge around anything from an addiction, trauma, upsetting event to a fear or belief system. I find EFT most effective when used in conjunction with BodyTalk because emotions get lodged in our system in many ways and for many different reasons. Using BodyTalk along with EFT allows you to link to different contributing factors that may not available with EFT alone. If you're interested in finding out more about it, feel free to check out our class at Nurture New York: http://nurturenewyork.com/events/20090627-EFT.html.

Thank you so much for posting about BodyTalk! I was first exposed to it about 6 months ago when I decided to attend an interesting-looking seminar "on a whim", and my body was quite literally buzzing during the seminar! I've now done the Access course and look forward to the Modules!

Bernadette -- you might want to try looking for a practitioner/more info on http://www.bodytalksystem.com/

This really does sound wonderful, and maybe could help me sleep?

I am in San Francisco, do you plan to have any classes this side of town? or could you recommend a book or cd that I could read that would explain how this works?

Thanks,

I am another big fan of Karen and BodyTalk which has nearly given me a full recovery from Chronic Fatigue. I learned Access in March and treat myself daily. I find it woks great with my uber-emotional grandson. I also use it before consulting with my stressed out marketing clients to help them focus.

I am Karen's biggest fan. Karen has been working with me and my entire family for the past three years and what comes up and shifts in one session with Karen is profound. It's also an excellent way to be in touch with just what is going on with your kids not only physically, but more importantly, emotionally. You really understand the root of their fears and insecurities and she aids in the release of the emotions... No unnecessary emotions, then no "dis-ease" in the body. I truly hope bodytalk becomes so mainstream that it is part of every health practitioner's learning and routine. I actually just had a 4 hour surgery and at my follow up visit, the doctor asked me why I was I so calm before the surgery...my answer...of course, BODYTALK!!!

I am so amazed at the effectivness of BodyTalk and BodyTalk ACCESS. What is wonderful about this system is that it can benefit anyone and integrate into any healthcare to improve effectiveness. Working with children has been one of my most exciting passions, now using BodyTalk I have one of the greatest tools for wellness that I can share with even the youngest child. My 15 month old daughter walked over to her dad as he was complaining of a headache and tapped on his head (doing BodyTalk), a minute later her dad was so astounded that his headeach disappeared! This is the future of medicine right now and our children will help to show us how simple it really can be!
